trajectories, now in its second edition, is a cycle of free workshops for adults, held in the spaces of La Pelanda. Participants will have the chance to interact with guest artists and to experiment different forms of artistic and performance art practices, thus creating an open space for encounter and for shared creativity. This year’s guest artists are Giorgia Ohanesian Nardin with Pleasure Body involving practices of resistance and movement, Marco Torrice with Melting Pot based on practices of dance and improvisation, and Simone Pappalardo with a workshop for the collective composition of music that takes its cue from the construction of the instruments themselves. Though the research pathways proposed move in different directions, they will nevertheless allow participants to create hybrids and cross-actions that become stimuli for artistic experimentation and sharing. It will be possible to map out unpredictable and open trajectories based on the individual and collective experiences spawned by the process.
Thus the trajectories workshops will become enmeshed with the Mattatoio’s other activities – artistic research and production residencies, advanced training and public presentations.

Applications to attend more than one workshop will be taken into consideration strictly on the basis of availability. Priority will be afforded to applicants who have not already taken part or received confirmation of their admission to other workshops in the programme.
The group of participants will be defined by the guest artist in conjunction with the staff of the Mattatoio. The resulting selection shall be deemed final, barring withdrawals.
