MAPPING WORLDS

free movement, theatre, sound and drawing workshops for girls and boys

mapping worlds, now in its second edition, is a cycle of workshops for girls and boys devoted to movement, sound, drawing and creative interaction with objects.

The cycle consists of eight weekends in the course of which, taking our cue from the senses of touch, hearing and sight, we will be devoting our time to hearing and getting to know, in order to express and to be transformed together through bodily experience and sensitive interaction with the exterior. A playful opportunity for mapping potential realities by exploring each participant’s creativity. mapping worlds will bring together the children and the artists passing through the Mattatoio, thus enhancing the space that artistic practices are capable of opening up, a space for experience in which each participant can get involved on the basis of his or her interests and possibilities.

• the encounters will be held at the Mattatoio on Saturday and Sunday
• the encounters for first and second year elementary school children will take place from 10.00 am to 11.15 am
• the encounters for third, fourth and fifth year elementary school children will take place from 11.45 am to 1.00 pm
• attendance at both workshop days is required
• comfortable casual clothing is recommended
