Curated by Nicoletta Provenzano

Exhibition promoted by Assessorato alla Cultura di Roma Capitale e Azienda Speciale Palaexpo

realized by Azienda Speciale Palaexpo in collaboration with Untitled Group s.r.l.s.

Andrea Lelario’s “Nomadi del sogno” new exhibition, curated by Nicoletta Provenzano, brings in a corpus of grafic works, matrix, drawings, photo-gravures.

Approximately six undred drawings on pocketbooks – in part from part from the nucleus acquired by the Gabinetto dei Disegni e della Stampe of the Uffizi and partly made especially for the exhibition –, collection composed of engravings and photo-gravures inspired by Cosmos itself, ancient roman countryside and dreamlike-world belonging both to sidereal space and inner scapes.

This whole world traced into harsh scratches leads the observer in a daydreaming adventure as a cosmic elegy. Primordial footprints, like metamorphic and metaphoric depth bring to light a symbolic common ground where Microcosmos and Macrocosmos come together.

In the artist’s work design - as an intellectual gesture and exploration of sensible reality - the eventually becomes dream itself, traces in an imaginary diary itinerary.

The exhibition will be accompanied by a catalogue curated by Nicoletta Provenzano and published by Dario Cimorelli Editore, with the support of the Accademia di Belle Arti di Roma.

The project sees the direct involvement of the Accademia di Belle Arti di Roma with which workshops and conferences will be organised.

Previews of the exhibition will be the conference on 11 July and Andrea Lelario's performance with pianist Matteo Bevilacqua on 18 July, both held at the Auditorium of Palazzo delle Esposizioni, Roma.
